The MEDEK accreditation process contributes significantly to the systematic monitoring and continuous improvement of the education quality of the Food Technology Program. Within this scope, program outcomes, course content, and assessment and evaluation processes are regularly reviewed and updated.
Thanks to the MEDEK approach:
Course contents have been restructured in line with sector needs, and the weight of practice-based courses has been increased.
The curriculum has been updated based on feedback received from students, alumni, academic staff, and external stakeholders, enhancing the program's sectoral relevance.
The alignment between program outcomes and courses (matrix) has been established, systematizing which competencies students acquire in which courses.
Assessment and evaluation processes have been made more transparent and traceable, and students' learning outcomes have begun to be tracked through concrete data.
Internship and practical training processes have been strengthened, ensuring that students graduate better prepared for the real work environment.
In this regard, MEDEK contributes significantly to establishing a quality assurance culture in our program, operating continuous improvement mechanisms effectively, and raising graduates equipped with competencies more aligned with sector expectations.
